Topic: Project Implementation Evaluations for Management

Bio:

Joel Erickson is the Director of the IT Project Management office (PMO) at Nu Skin Enterprises and a board member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) Northern Utah Chapter. As part of Joel’s responsibilities he oversees projects with significant IT and business process components that affect domestic and international operations of Nu Skin’s business. He also instructs project management classes at Utah Valley University.

In this presentation Joel will address the ‘minimum’ that a project manager should be doing to keep control of a project. This minimum establishes a baseline of what an auditor should be able to evaluate in a project. He will also address specific issues at the different stages of a project and how to communicate project issues to management during the project. These areas will help you and your team provide timely, valuable feedback to management about their current investments.

Joel received a Masters of Accounting from Brigham Young University.
